What you might want to know about me
I have been engaged in dream work for more than 35 years. During that time, I have learned that dreams rarely become clearer when they are reduced to fixed symbols or interpreted from the outside. They become meaningful when we stay close to the dream itself and explore it with attention, curiosity and respect.I completed a three-and-a-half-year training programme in Gestalt therapy, including theoretical, oral and practical final examinations. This training continues to shape the way I listen, ask questions and accompany the process of exploration.My approach draws particularly on Gestalt therapy and the work of Fritz Perls, while also incorporating insights from C. G. Jung. I do not treat these approaches as systems that provide ready-made answers. Instead, I use them as different ways of listening to the dream and following what emerges from it.I do not tell people what their dreams mean. The dreamer remains the authority on the dream. My role is to notice details, ask questions and help make visible what may already be present but has not yet been fully understood.My professional experience as a teacher has also shaped the way I work. It has taught me to listen carefully, make complex ideas understandable and support people in finding their own answers rather than giving them answers from the outside.I work in English and German.This work is intended for personal reflection and self-exploration. It is not psychotherapy and does not include diagnosis or treatment of mental health conditions.
